About Me

Gainesville Elite Basketball: Gainesville Elite is a nonprofit 501(C)(3) and adheres to the rules/regulations of the Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) and the United States Specialty Sports Association (USSSA). Our purpose is to provide an environment of positive reinforcement that teaches about respect, discipline, teamwork, sportsmanship, committment and hard work while expanding players skills sets and knowledge of basketball. We feel it is imperative that the student-athlete also has a serious drive to achieve strong academics and where they are lacking, offer assistance, encouragement and a plan of action. Our hope is that by participating with Gainesville Elite, the student-athlete will be encouraged to steer away from negative influences, value their education in the gym and away from the gym and use this as an opportunity to gain exposure for themselves for a possible athletic scholarship. We will be diligent in participating in community activities, to help build appreciation and show the value of providing a service to the community.
